November 2021 – XL Motors, the Longford-based automotive service and repair centre, has secured a prestigious place in the finals of the Midlands Business Awards 2022. The business, which boasts more than 30 years of industry experience, will find out if it has been named ‘Midlands Service Provider of the Year 2022’ at the awards ceremony in March.
Covering both the East and West Midlands, the awards celebrate the region’s innovation and entrepreneurship by showcasing the best practice demonstrated by local businesses. XL’s nomination clearly reflects its commitment to going above and beyond for its customers throughout the repair process.
To state their case as to why they should be crowned Service Provider of the Year, XL Motors took part in a face-to-face interview with the Midlands Business Awards judging panel earlier this month. Nominees are considered against strict criteria, looking specifically at the overall customer service experience. The business has previously submitted customer feedback and been required to detail its employee training programmes.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of XL Motors’ ‘Kitemark Excellence Award’ win at the British Bodyshop Awards in October. The award recognises the garage or repair centre that has excelled in promoting the BSI Kitemark standard BS 10125 for Vehicle Damage Repair, which XL Motors has held since 2008.
